The Lotus is located directly adjacent to beautiful Stadacona Park. The park is home to a protected Gary Oak grove, winding paths, open grassy fields, and countless flower beds. One of Victoria's best beaches, Gonzales Beach, can be reached by walking 20 minutes down historic St. Charles Street. St. Charles runs through the exclusive neighbourhood of Rockland, and is a beautiful walk past grand old mansions and their grounds.

Head west from The Lotus and you reach downtown Victoria in a leisurely 20 minute walk. The Historic Market Square and Victoria's Chinatown, the oldest Chinatown in North America, are not to be missed. Victoria's thriving outdoor markets are also on this side of downtown. Walk several blocks along the water to the south you will reach Victoria's Inner Harbour where you will find many of Victoria's popular tourist attractions such as The Empress Hotel, The Royal BC Museum, and British Columbia's Legislative Buildings.
